We try to keep things as simple as possible.

Initially, send us an email or Whatsapp message (most common), making sure you give us details including:

• the sort of thing you're looking for (a cake, cupcakes, funeral catering, corporate events, afternoon teas etc)

• the date of your event (to ensure that we have availability)

• an idea of whether you require delivery or you're happy to collect

• portion sizes (e.g., how many you need a cake to serve, or for catering, how many people will be eating at your event)

• your email address, which we can send your invoice to

Don't worry if any of these things change, it just saves us sending you all these questions later!

For cakes/cupcakes, it's also a good idea to send over any inspiration pictures, design ideas or a colour scheme at this stage.

We'll try and get back to you as quickly as possible with availability and a quote if applicable.

We also offer a free in-person or online consultation to discuss further details, if required.

Once you are happy with your quote and you have confirmed that your invoice is correct, payment will be due 3 days prior to the date of your event. This must be done either by BACS (details will be provided on your invoice), by credit/debit card (powered by STRIPE) via a payment link which will be sent alongside your invoice, or alternatively CASH on collection.

Prices for our cakes vary depending on size, design, flavor (due to ingredient costs), and any figures or artwork required for the cake.

We also charge a £5.00 surcharge for glitter cake toppers that we make in-house. These can be personalized to say anything you want!

That being said, to give you a basic idea, prices for our cakes start from £65.75 for a 6" (tall) or 7" (medium height) 12-15 portion cake, assuming a Victoria sponge, simple design, no personalized topper/s, and collection from us.

When you place your order we will ask you if anyone in your party has any dietary requirements or preferences.

It is your responsibility to let us know of any allergens or dietary requirements present for you or any members of your party.

We do try to cater for all allergen requirements, and we will take every precaution possible within our kitchen when catering for your dietary preferences, however we cannot guarantee that our kitchen uses equipment that is allergen-contact free. We will follow instructions within reason for special dietary requirements, however we do not accept responsibility for any allergic reactions that may occur.

Our kitchen is not nut and allergen-free, and we regularly handle all 14 major allergens, including celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide.

We will give you all allergen information requested.

We cannot be held responsible for allergens occurring and present within any ingredients we purchase.

We will ask you for information about suitable brand names and specific instructions that you wish us to follow. Where severe allergies are being catered for you may wish to supply your own ingredients the cost of which will be deducted from your invoice.

There is no standard size - you tell me how many portions that you would like the cake to serve, and I can work around that.

It also depends on how you cut it and whether it's children or adults who will be eating it! We've made so many cakes over the years, so please don't hesitate to let us guide you portion-wise!

We typically start our cakes from 10-12 portions, but there is not really a 'maximum' size. Tiered and larger cakes serve more portions, or you could combine a smaller cake with cupcakes or traybake-style cake slices to serve more portions. It's totally up to you.

Yes, our friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitality-experienced team are happy to serve our catering and discuss any queries with your guests during your event.

The price of this service will depend on the length of time you require us to stay, the location of the event, and how members of our team will be needed to cover your event.

Our business is small and we typically book up very quickly so give us as much notice as possible, ideally a minimum of 7 days.

Don't give up hope however, as we can sometimes cater at short notice depending on our availability.

Good Little Party Food accepts payments in the form of cash, credit card, and bank transfer.

No, we do not take a deposit and instead ask that you let us know of any changes to your plans, dates or numbers as soon as possible.

We will send over an invoice and you will have from the date we send the invoice to 3 days prior to your event (unless notice is less than 3 days!) to make your payment.

Full payment must be made up to 3 days before your event date. We will not begin preparing food/cakes until this payment is made.

Over the years, we have got the knack of providing accurate portion sizes and we are more than happy to discuss using smaller trays with fewer items on each. Often, we would also be able to mix trays so 'similar' items are together if this suits the dietary requirements of your guests, for example a 'vegetarian mixed savoury platter'.

It also depends on which items you have selected from our menu; some options are easier to split than others.
